Elevation Of Home

Best Elevation Of Home

Home improvement projects are always good business propositions and one such project which are sure to make good money for you – Elevation of Home. If your house has sloping roofs, then the whole idea will be just useless because the whole idea depends on elevating the home so that you can stay comfortably in it without having to run for many steps every time you go up or down.

Moreover, if your home is old then you need to elevate it – at least by one foot – so that you can easily carry out any home improvement work on it. Elevation of home is a very important part of home improvement as without it the foundation of your house is affected and there is a high risk of collapse too.

How to Measure Elevation of Your Home

There are a number of home improvement steps you can take to improve the appearance of your Indian home and increase its selling price, but perhaps one of the most important is to make sure that the pitched roof has sufficient elevation to allow for an attractive addition to your home. This is especially true if you are going to be selling the home in an area with an ever increasingly higher and more crowded demand for homes of all kinds.

In such an environment, selling your home to an adequately successful buyer could be quite difficult indeed. For those who are interested in increasing their selling price to at least keep up with the demands of an ever increasing number of people, however, they should look no further than the humble elevation of their pitched roof.

With just a few easy and relatively inexpensive steps, you can easily raise the elevation of your home by as much as 10 inches and make it appear even higher than it actually is.To begin, you need to have a concrete slab laid on the home plate between the rear wall and the first corner, or the foundation wall. Once this is in place, begin excavating around the perimeter of the slab using a shovel and pry bar.

You will need to determine the exact depth of the pitched roof and angle it according to the specifications set forth in the building code of the county in which you live, then set the slab into position, level it, and plumb it to the home plate.

With the home plate firmly in place, secure it by welding the ends. Elevation of your home may need to be increased depending upon the surrounding conditions, but for our purposes we will keep it fairly level unless you want to add more height to the outside walls.

Next you will need to determine the location of the front edge of your house, or the front elevation of your home. The easiest way to find this is to stand on the edge of your front porch and look toward the front door, then the street, and then the back yard (or garage). Any higher than ideal pitched roofs are indicated in the design that comes with your rubber roofing.

After you have determined the front elevation, you can begin to determine the size of your new roof. Remember that you must always install a minimum of three layers of rubber, one to each side of your home plate, and then additional roofing material to the rear or top of the house.
