To build elevation views, which display only straight wall framing. Navigate to Window/Add-Ons click the Standard or Custom option. In the General tab, select Horizontal (tall) Side with Radii set to 100 to display only straight wall framing and click OK.
To add elevation view controls to a scene using a wizard, first create a design in your design view. Then select Top with a cursor over existing items in your design view. Move your mouse over each item and the corresponding dialog box will appear. Select All to display the selected items in a group and then add them to your plan view.
To change the display of your elevation view with your floor plan, first create a floor plan and then modify the topographic map to reflect the new topography. Use the Transform tool (V) to flip the view vertically by resizing the map as desired and then add a new layer.
Make changes to your existing map and then deselect. A straight edge can be applied to the newly created view and it will be saved as the current view. To update your floor plan view with any other changes, save your drawing and then apply any changes to the tile map.
